FloWorx IQ started with a simple problem:

My Inbox is out of control.

I’m Tanner Drost, founder of a growing, multi-location service company in Central Alberta. Like most trades and service business owners, I started small with one truck, one phone, and one inbox. But as the leads, bookings, and day-to-day customer messages piled up, I found myself buried in emails.

Quote requests, scheduling changes, warranty questions, part orders, follow-ups, it never stopped. I was spending hours replying to the same kinds of messages or trying to train new staff to do it the way I would, without losing our voice, sending the wrong info, or dropping the ball.

Over the years, our company became the highest-rated service provider in our industry, earning Small Business of the Year and hundreds of five-star Google reviews. Those standards of excellence are what built our reputation, but keeping up with that level of service while scaling the business was becoming impossible.

I didn’t need another app, CRM, or complex system. I needed something smart that could plug into the inbox we already use, understand how we talk to customers, and help us stay consistent, efficient, and personal no matter how big we got.

That’s when I started talking with my friend, Artem Lykov, a Canadian-Ukrainian AI specialist with a gift for solving real-world problems. Artem had been following my business journey for years, and after hearing me vent about the chaos of my inbox one too many times, he said something that stuck:

“What if I built you something instead of you trying to make some generic system work?”

What started as an idea quickly turned into hundreds of hours of development, testing, and refinement, scanning thousands upon thousands of real customer emails to understand how service-based communication actually works.

With Artem’s technical expertise and my experience leading one of the region’s top-rated service companies, we built something that could finally keep up.

Together, we created FloWorx IQ, AI-powered communication automation built by service pros, for service pros.

It connects directly to Gmail or Outlook, sorts your inbox, and sorts, and drafts professional replies that sound like you wrote them. It learns your tone, your pricing, your services, and even helps train new employees by showing them how you’ve handled messages in the past.

What started as a solution to my own inbox chaos has grown into a platform that’s helping plumbers, electricians, HVAC techs, painters, landscapers, and more save time, reduce stress, and communicate better than ever.
