FloWorx started with a simple problem: My inbox was out of control.
I’m Tanner Drost, founder of The Hot Tub Man Ltd., a multi location hot tub sales and service company in Central Alberta. Like most service-based businesses, we started small—but as the leads, bookings, and day-to-day customer messages increased, I found myself drowning in emails.
Quote requests, bookings, tech questions, chemistry issues, part orders, warranty questions, schedule changes, follow-ups—it never stopped. I was either spending hours repeating the same email responses or trying to train new staff to do it the way I would, without losing our voice, giving incorrect information, or dropping the ball.
No tool on the market fit how hot tub businesses actually work. I didn’t need another app or complex system—I just needed something smart that could plug into our existing inbox, understand how we talk to customers, and help us stay efficient and consistent.
That’s when I got a message from a friend, Artem Lykov, a Canadian-Ukrainian AI specialist with a knack for solving real-world problems. He had been following my journey, heard my complaints, and reached out with a bold idea:

Together, we created FloWorx—AI-powered email automation, custom-built for the hot tub industry. It plugs into Gmail or Outlook, sorts your inbox, and drafts polished replies that sound like you wrote them yourself. It even helps train new employees by showing them how you’ve handled messages in the past.
What started as a tool to solve my own inbox chaos is now saving other service businesses time, money, and stress—whether they’re just starting out or scaling fast.
